Do I need anything else?

  • Yes, you need to have a micro SD card and a computer to transfer your media [PLEASE NOTE: If you are tranferring VHS tapes, you will need to have a VHS player].

  • In order to use the software, you must have have a PC or Apple Mac that meets or exceeds the following system requirements:

    Borrowing Terms and Conditions FOR THE LIBRARY OF THINGS

    BORROWERS must be adult Three Village residents who hold an Emma Clark Library card in good standing, and who have signed an indemnity statement (at time of check out). 

    Loan Rules

    Each adult cardholder may borrow a maximum of two items from this collection at a time. Some items have a three-day loan period and others have a fourteen-day loan period. A single renewal may be possible.

    Extended Use Fees

    The late fine for borrowed equipment is $1 per day (up to a maximum of $10).  Borrowers will be billed for the full replacement cost of any item that is kept more than 14 days past the due date.  ITEMS WITH HOLDS ARE NOT RENEWABLE.

    Replacement Costs

    As with other library materials, once you have checked out any Library-owned equipment, you are responsible for its care and that of any supplemental materials included in the kit. If any of the Library's property is lost or damaged, it will be your responsibility to pay the full cost of repair or replacement.
    Equipment and gadgets must be picked up from and returned to the Emma Clark Library circulation desk.  Equipment may not be returned through the book drop.
    For mobile hotspots only:  The Mobile Hotspot should be kept in a temperature controlled environment; DO NOT leave it in your car. 

    NOTE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS

    Internet content filtering is NOT provided through the Emma Clark Library Wireless Hotspot. Parents/Guardians are responsible for monitoring what their children access.

    Personal Information

    The borrower is responsible for clearing personal content from borrowed devices before their return.  Emma Clark Library and its employees will not be deemed responsible for any material remaining on the devices.
    The use of some items may require precertification or training.  If such requirements exist for the item you are borrowing, there will be a link within the item description to the required training.
